A Courthouse Wedding for Sydney & Dustin
The romantic black tie fete to celebrate the love of Sydney & Dustin took place in a historic landmark in the heart of the Decatur Square. The old courthouse in the Dekalb History Center offered a clean slate with its floor-to-ceiling white marble and large antique arched windows, which even with the rain, let in the lightness of a cool November day.
For the color palette, deep jewels tones are married with soft blushes that carried throughout each detail of the design. From rich blooms to delicate handmade paper, each element was perfectly bespoke. Pops of gilded goodness sneak in at every turn -- such a magical sight to behold.
After a very touching ceremony (few dry eyes were to be found), guests retreated for cocktails. Upon reveal of the reception, guests returned to the ballroom where candlelight brought the room aglow for dinner. As everyone enjoyed each other's company for a delightful meal and delectable wedding cake, there was a romantic air about the room.
