A Day in Decatur with Lindsay & Joel

A beauty queen and a gentleman spent months planning their magical day, a gorgeous wedding in early autumn at the Dekalb History Center, a historic courthouse in the downtown Decatur, Georgia.

With Lindsay in a dress that girly girls dream of (gasp, that BOW!) to Joel in his white dinner jacket, these two looked as though they were made for this day.

The ceremony, with it’s moving personally-penned vows left guests tearful with joy and admiration of the couples’ love. And later, the toasts had everyone laughing and so moved once again.

The courthouse was adorned with white blooms and greenery in gold vessels, burgundy accents in the linens, and blush details. Tables were perfectly set for guests to enjoy brunch and mimosas. For sweets, the couple chose an array of mini donuts displayed on the piano. And in each and every corner, a special thoughtful detail, such as a collection of family wedding portraits.
